XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/03

Conditions were just perfect yesterday, and it was great to see so many people out enjoying the ski trails! We will hold off on grooming today and tomorrow due to the above-freezing temps; however, the conditions will still be good for classic skiing today, especially in the morning while it’s cooler. Tracks are in good to great condition. Snow depth in the woods is 20 to 22 inches, and about 14 to 16 inches packed on the trail.

Weather Forecast:
Today: Cloudy with drizzle. High 41F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: Cloudy with drizzle expected. Areas of patchy fog. Low around 35F. Winds light and variable.
Tomorrow: Cloudy with periods of rain. High 43F. Winds S at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 90%.

Today’s Stone Turtle Day Lodge Cafe is the Cubano Panini! Honey glazed ham, oven roasted turkey, swiss cheese, dill pickle slices, mayo and Dijon mustard on a crusty Swiss roll. Served with Great Lakes Chips and a pickle!

Ski early today and you’ll have a great time!

-Mariah, Stu, Bob, Lynne, Erin, Matt, Missy, Gillian, Molly, Annie H., Katrina, Annie B., Grant, Josh, Michelle, Krista, Crystal, Mike, Butch, Tony and the crew
