Corsair Ski Trails Cross Country Ski Report – 02/28

It’s been a busy week. Saturday night’s rain and Sunday’s fierce winds froze up the trail surface and knocked down a large amount of fallen trees, limbs and debris. We were able to clear the Silver Valley and Corsair trails, and we ground up and graded the frozen snow. Yesterday a 7 inch snowfall covered the trails. We will be rolling and packing the Silver Valley and Corsair trails today. Tracks will be set tomorrow, and we will have excellent skiing this weekend. Unfortunately, we have not been able to clear the debris off the Wright’s Lake trails. For safety reasons, they are closed indefinitely due to the hazards.

2019 Corsair Trail Grooming Passes are available at Nordic Sports, in East Tawas, for $10.00. Your financial contribution makes trail clearing and grooming happen.
