Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail – Ski Conditions

Thursday, March 7, 2019

Glen Haven to Empire was groomed with 1 set of classic tracks on 3/6/2019. Excellent conditions.

Glen Haven to Glen Arbor was groomed 3/7/2019 with 2 sets of classic tracks. Excellent conditions.

Glen Arbor to Port Oneida Road was groomed 3/7/2019 with 1 set of classic tracks.
Excellent Conditions.

Palmer Woods was groomed 3/3/2019 with 2 sets of classic tracks, we’ve had some fresh powder since grooming.

Due to heavy powder conditions, all grooming was done with the roller, so the trail is a bit narrower than when we can use the Ginzu.

Other ski trails in Sleeping Bear Dunes are not groomed but are open for back-country skiing and snowshoeing. They have a nice layer of fresh snow.
