XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 03/12

The Wild Turkey Trail was superb for skating last night!

The trails remain in great shape. Despite sunny skies yesterday, the snow on the trails remained cold and never got soft as the day progressed. Groomer Mike will be out this morning to snow comb all the skating lanes. There are some oak leaves down in some parts of the tracks, but other than that conditions are great for classic and skating. With some warm and wet weather in the forecast, it would be wise to ski today!

Today’s Stone Turtle Day Lodge Cafe Lunch Special is the Turkey Pesto Panini! Oven roasted turkey, provolone cheese, spinach, tomato, red onion and pesto, grilled to perfection on hearty grain bread. Served with Great Lakes Potato Chips and a dill pickle spear. Classic and Chipotle Veggie Chili are on the menu, too!

The Spring Sale is on! Shop Closeout prices on race skis and boots. Stop in to demo, or call 800-832-2663 to get fitted!

Ski while the skiing is good!
