XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 03/16
There is still a lot of snow on the trails!
Temps turned cold yesterday afternoon, and we received about a half inch of snow. Despite the warm up, the trails are still fully covered by snow due to our strong base, and the trail surface has re-frozen nicely. Groomer Mike will Ginzu snow comb all trails this morning, and attempt to set classic tracks as well. The fresh snow mixed in with the crispy snow beneath it will make for great spring skiing today. Conditions are not icy and should be enjoyed by many for at least the next several days!
