Shanty Creek Snow Report – 03/16
Join us today for our Cardboard Classic, the annual race down Schuss Mountain in a sled you make yourself—from cardboard, tape, and glue only! Prizes will be awarded for: Short’s Creativity in Engineering (best design), Best use of Shanty Creek brand, Best use of the KHQ brand and of course, the fastest sleds.
Schedule is as follows:
Registration: 9-11am in Ivan’s Cafe
Judging of Sleds: 11:30am slopeside, outside Ivan’s
Races: 12pm
Today’s weather forecast calls for cloudy skies with snow showers mainly during the morning with highs near 24 degrees.
Schuss Mountain will be open today from 9am-9pm.
Our alpine tubing park located at Summit Mountain will be available today from 10am-10pm.
