XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 03/25
Most of the trail surface is like this! Come on our and enjoy it while it lasts!
We continue to have good to great spring ski conditions on all open trails, which include Rolling Hills, Mackinaw Cut, Wild Turkey, Trapper’s Cabin, and Adventure. 95% of the surface on these trails are covered in fun, fast, controllable ground-up old snow. As to be expected, there are some occasional small but manageable icy spots, but overall totally worth skiing. Groomer Mike will snow comb the above trails this morning. While there are no classic tracks, the above trails have only one bare spot beginning to open up on the Adventure trail. Manitou and Tall Pines are not recommended due to ice and debris. There is still a lot of fun to be had out there!
Today’s lunch special is the Wild Turkey Roll! Oven roasted turkey breast, provolone cheese, pesto, tomato and onion served hot and melty on a Swiss roll. Classic and Chipotle Veggie chili are on the menu as well!
