We received about 3 inches of snow throughout the day yesterday. It is plenty enough for dogs and babies to enjoy (see below), and may even allow some diehards the opportunity to scratch the skiing itch (rock skis recommended), but there are still parts of the trail that lack full snow coverage, and the snow we do have is still thin. So, expect to "find" some leaves and dirt if you do go, and know that you may also find a lot of fun!

Ginzu Dana will be rolling all the trails this morning in an effort to begin establishing a base – we do not expect good conditions to come of the rolling; it is more of an effort to push the snow into the ground.

It’s looking nice and cold in the 10 day forecast, is promising for snow-making in the near future… stay tuned 🙂

FYI, the Stone Turtle Cafe will open in early December, but until then, we do have a couple tables set up for BYO picnic lunches in the Day Lodge. Or, enjoy your post-rock-ski snack in the new outdoor Ice Dome Igloo (pictured with Donnie above).
