Valley Spur Trail System Cross Country Ski Report – 11/12

11 / 12 / 19

We have tracks at Valley Spur. I skied down Heaven in the tracks and yes it was Heaven.

Still packing, rolling and dragging trails. No tracks today. Lots more snow in the forecast for tonight and early tomorrow. Will plan on setting some tracks tomorrow. A,C,D X and W are now groomed and relatively flat. Skiing is good now but things will be in really great shape in the next couple days

11 / 11 / 19

Grooming season is under way!Packed and rolled A, B backwards to the bottom of Heart Attack,D and down Stairway. No track set yet. Skating should actually be pretty good in the morning. Looks like more snow in the next few days and cold temps.

11 / 08 / 19

Looks like Winter might just be here to stay. I will be moving some equipment over to VS in the next couple days. Depending on how much snow is there some grooming may take place. As is always the case any early season grooming will be limited to just some of the interior loops until after the firearm deer season is over.

Big Thanks to all the volunteers that participated in trail clean up this Fall. It really helps get the grooming season off to a faster start!

We will keep everyone informed of what we are up to. See you soon!
