We received another 2 to 3 inches of snow throughout yesterday and last night, and are rolling the trails this morning. All trails except Wild Turkey are open today for classic and skating. The skating is especially good – no breaking through to the ground, and really nice fresh snow to glide on. Overall we are amazed with the conditions, and delighted to have such fantastic early skiing!

The snow-making efforts on the practice area have been quite successful, too. Groomer Mike will be grooming it this afternoon, and we plan to have tracks set and snow-combed skate lanes for demos and agility training this weekend, and for the Free Saturday Lesson at 10:30!

We are looking forward to having the trails open for this weekend, and the Stone Turtle Cafe will have at minimum chili, rolls, and chocolate chip cookies on the menu.This early start to the season brings a rare opportunity to demo new equipment on the early end of the season, so stop by for free demos on this fabulous snow!
