Caberfae Peaks Snow Report – 11/14

SLOPES OPENING SATURDAY, NOV 16TH

We are happy to say that we have made it through the night without any power outages and had a great night of production.

We have been battling a series of power outages recently, and have had 3 outages in 12 days. The most recent one caused significant damage to our primary electrical equipment. We now have our power restored, repaired the damage, and the snow machines are back on. As a result of the outages, we have missed out on some ideal snowmaking conditions.

However, we will be open this Saturday & Sunday, (Nov 16 & 17) from 10 am to 5 pm with the Vista Triple Chair, North Peak Quad Chair & the Shelter Double Chair all turning. The runs Canyon, Smiling Irishmen, Shelter, Ski Shop, Gum Drop & Easy Street will be open, which have been the focus of our snowmaking efforts. We will have more slopes open on natural snow or thin cover with snowmaking. The Green Mountain Flyer is still a question mark at this point. Please check back and we will see you this weekend. The forecast for Saturday is for mostly sunny skies and a high of 29!

Lift tickets, rentals, lessons, season passes, punch passes, gift cards and more, are all available in our online store: SHOP NOW
