Shanty Creek Snow Report – 12/07

The slopes of Schuss Mountain await. Three lifts are spinning today and tomorrow 9am-4:30pm. The Yellow Lift opens for the season today along with more terrain including Chicken’s Choice, Mellow Yellow, and Kingdom Come. The Purple Lift and the Magic Carpet will also be spinning. Purple Daze has four features lined.
After the lifts stop spinning tomorrow/Sunday evening, the slopes will close for the week while snow making continues. Very cold temps (read: EXCELLENT snow making conditions!) are forecast next week. Then next Saturday, Dec 14, Schuss will re-open for the season (open daily) with our first Sardine Special.
In the meantime enjoy some early season turns this weekend. It will be nice with daily high temps in the upper 20s/low 30s.
