XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 12/08

Classic tracks are still in very good shape!

Good morning! Ski conditions remain very good, and many skiers enjoyed fast and fun skating lanes and decent tracks yesterday. Groomer Mike will snow comb all the trails except Adventure this morning, and classic tracks can be found on Rolling Hills, Mackinaw Cut, Wild Turkey, Manitou, and Trapper’s Cabin. There is 6-8 inches of snow in the woods, and 2-3 inches of packed base on the trails. Enjoy this great skiing!

The Stone Turtle Cafe is open! Our chilis, panini sandwiches, and baked goods are as great as ever, and skiers will also enjoy new menu items like the Manitou Burrito Bowl and the Beyond the Trail Burger. Craft beer, wine, and signature Drinks to Warm your Heart are available as well. Nothing like a hearty lunch by the fire after a fabulous ski outing!

Don’t forget to shop the Christmas Sale! Lots of great clothing specials for every member of the family. Ski you soon!

-Mariah, Stu, Bob, Lynne, Erin, Missy, Gill, Matt, Ethan, Krista, Katrina, Will, Andrew, Josh, Josie, and the crew
