The Roscommon Junior XC Ski Team, in preparation for the 2nd Annual Reindeer Games yesterday afternoon!

After lots of good hard work, the trail crew finished spreading snow onto the entire Trapper’s Cabin trail yesterday. Butch will snow-comb and set tracks on the Trappers Cabin trail this morning, where conditions are great for classic and skating. Cody the Cabin Boy will be selling hot cocoa, hot dogs, and more at the Trappers Cabin bonfire! The Rolling Hills, Wild Turkey, Manitou, and Tall Pines trails are open and have been rolled, and also have skied in tracks. Watch for thin spots, though, and rock skis are recommended. The practice area has lots of high quality man-made snow for demos and lessons – it’s the perfect time to try some new skis out there!
