XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 12/22

You won’t be able to stop smiling on the Trappers Cabin trail!

Great conditions prevail! The Trappers Cabin trail has a fantastic base of man-made snow that is ideal for classic and skating. Come enjoy this 2km loop that winds through beautiful forest, and take a pit stop at Trappers Cabin, where a bonfire, hot cocoa, and snacks await. We will be extending the man-made loop to include the Rolling Hills trail next – stay tuned. Meanwhile, the Rolling Hills, Wild Turkey, Manitou, and Tall Pines trails are open and were rolled last week, and also have skied in tracks. Watch for thin spots, though, and use rock skis. The practice area has lots of high quality man-made snow for demos and lessons.

The Christmas Sale is ON! Shop tons of great deals on clothing and XC ski equipment and snowshoes. Give that someone special something special from Cross Country Ski Headquarters!
