Shanty Creek Snow Report – 12/29

Updated Sunday, Dec 29

Fun Fact: Rain doesn’t hurt the ski slopes. So relax this morning, the rains will pass and won’t ruin the day. Lifts will be spinning until 9pm.

Happy holidays to all! Join us today on the slopes of Schuss Mountain from 9am to 9pm. Spring-like conditions remain with temps reaching the upper 30s. There are 42 of 43 slopes open—99% of Schuss’s terrain. Note: Glades areas are variable.

Update 11am: There will be six lifts spinning today—the Purple, Yellow, Pink, and Red quad chair lifts. Over on the bunny hill the Magic Carpet will be running. And over on Low Rider another handle tow. The Red Lift closes at 4:15pm.

The Monster Park and Low Rider have a sleigh-full of features. The Nordic trails have been reduced though still open and in need of a fresh snowfall and some colder temps. Finally, the Alpine Tubing Park will be open for more family fun from 10am-10pm.

Happy holidays to everyone. Let’s go outside and play!
