Caberfae Peaks Snow Report – 01/08

THE SNOWMAKING CREW IS BACK TO WORK…

The snowmaking crew went back to work last night and was able to get the guns fired up at 8 pm. Temps dipped into the low teens last night and will stay in the teens throughout the day today. In order to take full advance of the short snow making window, the South Peak Triple will not open today. It will reopen tomorrow as we have another cold night ahead of us, but temps will warm quickly on Thursday.

We’re not sure we believe this, but as of this morning, Weather.com is calling for 5" to 8" Friday night, 1" to 3" Saturday, followed by another 5" to 8" Saturday night??? Check it out and let’s hope it happens…
