Caberfae Peaks Snow Report – 01/09
THE SNOWMAKING CREW IS BACK TO WORK…
We’ve had two great nights of snowmaking and will be shutting the guns down this morning as temps will be warming throughout the day. The crew was able to run the guns for 38 hours to rebuild some base and refresh the snow surface. Snow conditions will be much improved and South Peak will reopen today.
The forecasters continue to be all over the board when it comes to snowfall for this weekend. The one constant is that they all have some accumulation in the forecast. Here is the latest as of 8 am this morning for snowfall Friday night through Sunday morning, most of which is coming late Saturday night & early Sunday morning: Weather.com has 7 to 14 inches, AccuWeather has 5 to 11 inches, and the NWS has 6 inches.
