Crystal Mountain Snow Report – 01/12
Our lift hours today are 9am – 9pm, with 8 chairlifts spinning. We are skiing and riding on 53 trails (91% of our skiable terrain), and all 3 terrain parks are open. In typical hard to predict Michigan weather fashion our snow accumulation was less then forecasted, around 1 inch. Even though old man winter didn’t show up last night, the sun will make up for it with an appearance today! It is shaping up to be a great day to hit the slopes with temps in the low 20’s and partly sunny skies. Please note there will be college races held on Thor from 9 am-Noon.
Today is the Fat Chance Fat Tire Bike Pre-Ride begins at 11am, the ride starts at the Iron Fish Distillery.
It’s Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month! Throughout January, our professional snowsports instructors will teach the essentials of skiing and snowboarding for all beginners, ages 7 and up. Enjoy incredible deals on lessons, rental and lift tickets!
