Shanty Creek Snow Report – 01/19

Updated Sunday, January 19

Today is the day! A total of 8" has fallen in the past 24 hours, on top of the 8+ inches that has fallen this past week, snow conditions should be outstanding.

Schuss Mtn is open today 9am to 9pm with 43 of 43 slopes open. There will be 8 lifts servicing all runs today—the Yellow, Blue, Pink, Purple, and Red quad chair lifts. Over on the bunny hill the Magic Carpet and Handle Tow will be running. And on Low Rider another Handle Tow.

The Monster Park was rebuilt on Tuesday with several added features. The Red Lift closes at 4:15pm; Blue at 4:30pm; all others at 9pm. Note: Glades areas are much improved with natural snow, though thin spots may exist; exercise caution.

The Alpine Tubing Park is open 10am-10pm. For Nordic enthusiasts, the entire circuit is being touched up today to groom all the powder into skating corduroy.
