XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 01/30
After extensive use of the Ginzu snow comb groomer yesterday, Mike was able to grind up the crusty snow surface and produce softer, yet still firm conditions on the skate lanes. Groomer Butch will set out this morning to do the same. The classic tracks and are quite firmly entrenched into the snow surface, and while parts of them are good, many spots are slick. There are 4 to 6 inches of snow packed on the trails, and 6 to 10 inches in the woods.
After your ski, warm up with a hot lunch at the Stone Turtle Cafe! Chili, panini sandwiches, burrito bowls, or the plant-based Beyond the Trail Burger awaits. Sip a craft beer or glass of wine in front of the fireplace!
Plus, demo some skis today! We have over 40 ski packages to choose from, including recreational classic, skin skis, back country, skate skis, and kids ski packages. Best of all, you’ll get expert ski-fitting help, available all day, every day. Demos are always free!
Upcoming Events:
Saturday, Feb 1st: Free Beginner Ski Lesson at 10:30am!
