Despite the warm temps yesterday, the conditions were fantastic! Even Groomer Butch was impressed by how firm the skate lanes were, even when he skied in the afternoon. The classic tracks are good in some places, and pretty well glazed in some other places. Nevertheless, classic skiers reported beautiful skiing and happy times under blue skies and sunshine yesterday. We expect similar conditions today. After cold temps last night, Groomer Mike will snow comb the skating lanes this morning. There are 4 to 6 inches of snow packed on the trails, and 7 to 11 inches in the woods. There is snow in the forecast for later this week, which would freshen up the tracks nicely – do your snow dance!
