XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/11

It doesn’t get much better than skiing at sunset after a big snow.

The trails groomed up beautifully yesterday after the big snow. Groomer Mike will reset classic tracks and snow comb the skating lanes this morning. All trails are open for skating and classic skiing, and conditions are fantastic, mid-winter conditions. There are 6 to 8 inches of snow packed on the trails, and 8 to 14 inches in the woods. The beauty of the winter forest is beyond words!
