XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/17
The Jooma family from Louisville, Kentucky came north in search of snow for their daughters… and they found it at XC Ski HQ!
It was a weekend for the books! Fantastic conditions, lots of skiers, and sunny skies throughout the day yesterday. Visitors of all ages from Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and of course Michigan made for a very fun mix of skiers, and the Gourmet Chili Bar was a big hit! Groomer Butch will snowcomb the skate lanes this morning and reset classic tracks where needed. Conditions are excellent. There are 6 to 8 inches of snow packed on the trails, and 8 to 14 inches in the woods. More snow is in the forecast tonight, do your snow dance!
