Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail and Palmer Woods Grooming Report

Trail Conditions are "Dust on Crust" with only a little (less than 1") of fresh powder over icy base. Some areas are just icy where the wind blew the fresh snow off the trail.

Ski Conditions

Empire to Dune Climb – Dust on Crust – best conditions on the trail because most of the area is protected from wind
Dune Climb to Glen Haven -Dust on Crust but icy at the Dune Climb and near Glen Haven
Glen Haven to Glen Arbor – Dust on Crust, but icy near Glen Haven
Crystal View Trailhead to Port Oneida Road – Dust on Crust but some icy spots in open fields
Port Oneida Road to Bohemian Road – Dust on Crust but some areas where gravel is exposed.
Palmer Woods – Dust on Crust
