Vasa Trail Cross Country Ski Report – 03/04
I have completed a skate lane renovation of the 5k. It is currently 33 degrees with no new snow. Grooming is very difficult this morning due to icy patches on some of the hills. My plan is to continue on and complete the 10k and 25k. An update as to exactly what got accomplished will be sent out late morning.
Classic tracks are still shaped well but are icy. Skate lane will be hard with a layer of granular ice which should offer some control. Be very cautious of any of the hills you encounter up or down. Also, the conditions get better the further from the trail head you get.
