XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 03/08
The Free Beginner Lesson yesterday with Matt was just perfect! Clear, sunny skies and great conditions!
Groomers Mike and Butch are snowcombing all the trails this morning. Conditions are mostly good, with lots of good stretches and some thin and slick stretches. Today is the day of the Michigan Cup Relays! The Rolling Hills and Trappers Cabin trails will be closed to the public from 10:30am to 1:00pm for the race. All the rest of the trails are open. Please use caution when crossing through race zones.
Today:
Michigan Cup Relays! The grand finale of the Michigan Cup Race Series, this 3-person relay race is open to the public. If you don’t have a team, you are welcome to race anyway, and we will do our best to find a team for you! Registration starts at 9:30am, and the race starts at 11:00am. Awards, lunch, and festivities to follow.
