Caberfae Peaks Snow Report – 11/24

We fired the snow machines up for the second time this year last night at 8 pm. It was a marginal night with swirling winds, so the production was not the best. However, it was progress as we have more snow on the hills today than yesterday. We’ll keep making snow at every opportunity and work to gets some slopes open as soon as possible. Based on the current forecast, we are now targeting an opening date of the first weekend in December.

Pease visit our COVID-19 policy page so that you know what to expect this winter when you come out to ski or ride. This info will change when our local, state & regional laws change, so please continue to check back.

We were able to fire up the snowmaking system around 8 pm last night. The new pump is working well and we were pushing a significant amount of water up the hill for marginal temps. As of 9:30 am this morning, the guns were still going strong.. Stay tuned..
