XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 12/17

The trails are in great shape, with mostly excellent conditions for skate and classic skiing. All trails are open, and will have freshly snow combed skating lanes this morning, and fresh tracks where needed.

There is 6-8 inches of snow in the woods, and 2-4 inches packed on the trail. The forecast looks promising for the foreseeable future, with mildly cold temps and some snow. We are looking forward to a white Christmas!

Join us this weekend for our FREE Saturday Beginner Ski Lesson at 10:30am, as well as LIVE music from George Silvercrow on the sun deck on Sunday from 2pm to 4pm! Plus, take advantage of free demos every day, and awesome sales on clothing and accessories. Book a private lesson any day of the week, too! The Stone Turtle Cafe is open today for take-out and outdoor dining – try a Manitou Burrito Bowl with Beyond Sausage if you really want to feel good!

Have fun out there,

– Mariah, Stu, Bob, Lynne, Erin, Gill, Missy, Krista, Alex, Bradley, George, Will, Donnie, Josh, Josie, Annie and the crew
