XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 12/22

We received about 2 inches of snow throughout the day yesterday and last night. Groomer Mike will snowcomb the skating lanes and reset tracks this morning. Conditions are mostly great out there, and the thin spots on Manitou and Adventure are slowly gaining coverage with the additional snow we’ve been getting. There are 5-8 inches of snow in the woods, and 2-5 inches packed on the trail.

*Holiday Hours:
Christmas Eve: open from 10:00am to 2:00pm
Christmas Day: Closed (trails open "on the house" but no grooming)
New Years Eve & New Years Day: Open normal hours

The Stone Turtle Cafe is open today for take-out and outdoor dining around our new fire pits. Enjoy a grab-and-go Bob’s Favorite Tuna wrap with some Great Lakes Potato Chips and a crunchy dill pickle! Plus, the Demo Center is open! Choose from a large selection of skin skis, skate skis, and back country skis to "try before you buy" at no charge.

Don’t forget, our Trapper’s Cabin Trail is lit with solar lights every night. All trail pass holders are invited to enjoy the majestic experience of night skiing any night (headlamps are encouraged, too).

Enjoy the snowy woods!
