Timber Ridge Ski Area Snow Report – 12/23

Sorry, we will be CLOSED today through Christmas.

Saving our snow on Triple. Need better snow on beginner trails.

BUT, snowmaking operations resume tonight AND we got up to 9 inches of #lakeeffectsnow coming before REOPENING Saturday at 9am!

<>

REOPENING FOR GOOD Saturday, 12/26 @ 9:30am. Extended Holiday Hours in effect until 2021!

Although we have a 12-18 inch base on most of Sycamore and Lumberjack (Triple Runs), we need more snow on beginner terrain to continue operations. Our snowmakers are rested up and will be ready for the cold, snowy weather ahead. We are expecting to make enough snow to get Twigg Rope (our favorite beginner hill), Oak (our favorite race hill), Pine Rope, Pumpkin Terrain Park, and our Snow Tubing Hill OPEN very quickly.

BONUS – We now have a winter weather advisory and could receive up to 9 inches of LAKE EFFECT SNOW by Friday night, just in time for Saturday’s re-openoing!

We should be in for a white Christmas, finally, and excellent skiing all throughout the Holiday Stretch!
