XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 12/30

The skating was marvelous on the Rolling Hills trail yesterday, and will be again today!

We received 2-3 inches of snow last night! This should be enough to set classic tracks on most, if not all of the trails this morning. Groomer Mike will groom for classic and skating today. Conditions are excellent. There is 4-7 inches of snow in the woods, and 2-4 packed on 99% of the trail. It’s a winter wonderland out there!

The Stone Turtle Cafe is open today for outdoor dining! Feast on a Manitou burrito bowl by the fire, or grab a pre-made turkey or tuna wrap to go.

Enjoy this beautiful day!
