Porcupine Mountains Snow Report – 01/04

We have groomed the trail up to the tower for access to the west side tree skiing. 801’ vertical can now be had by hiking the West Vista XC trail or skinning up the tower trail off of Sunset!

We are excited to see the top half of your face on January 2! Please remember to mask up and follow Covid safety guidelines! Masks and social distancing are required inside and IN THE LIFT LINES! We are limited to 90 people inside at a time. Please use the outside windows to purchase lift tickets and to pay for rentals. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK INSIDE AS WELL AS IN THE LIFT LINE!! NO EXCEPTIONS! We will not be serving food on opening weekend, the following weekend we will offer grab and go food. No eating or drinking is allowed inside. You will be required to wear a mask in order to be treated by Ski Patrol as well. Due to Covid restrictions we will not be offering lessons this season. Please remember that this season will be a bit different. Please be patient with our Porkies family!!

All trails have been track set in the last couple days! Unfortunately, due to current snow conditions, rangers won’t be able to get out again until we get more snow.
