XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 01/09

Hard to beat cross country skiing followed by a bonfire and sunset!

The trails are in great shape. All trails are open and are being groomed this morning for classic and skate. Skating lanes are snow combed and excellent, and classic tracks were reset yesterday. There are 9-13 inches of snow in the woods, and 6-7 inches packed on the trail.

The Stone Turtle Cafe lunch special today is Tacos! Feast on succulent pulled meats, beans, and yummy toppings, and dine outdoors at one of our fire pits, or take your meal to go.

Tomorrow, Sunday, Jan 10th: Don’t miss Live Music this Sunday with Eric McDonald from 2-4pm*, outside on the sun deck! Also on Sunday is Paella! Servings of this amazing dish, cooked outdoors over open flame, will take place at 1pm and 3pm.

*Time for live music has been updated since previous writings.

Have fun skiing!
