XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 01/16
Cross Country Skiing with your family creates memories that last a lifetime!
We received about two inches of heavy, dense snow last night. Prior to the snow was quite a bit of wintery mix, so grooming may be a project this morning! Groomer Mike will attempt to snow comb the skating lanes and set fresh tracks on all trails this morning. It may take him longer than usual due to the density of the snow. Conditions will likely be a little wet, but overall great for classic and skating! Trails have full coverage and the snow clinging to the branches is breathtaking. We have 8-13 inches of snow in the woods, and 3-6 inches packed on the trails.
TODAY: Join us for the FREE Saturday Beginner Ski Lesson at 10:30am! No registration necessary, just meet on the practice field with your equipment at 10:30.
The Stone Turtle Cafe Lunch Special this weekend is Gourmet Mac-n-Cheese! Ask to have your Mac topped with bacon, tomatoes, onions and more from our fabulous chefs. Best enjoyed with a cold glass of Chardonay around an outdoor fire pit on the sun deck!
