Michigan Ski Blog – Snow Reports

Vasa Trail Cross Country Ski Report – 01/21

Temps are hovering around 35 degrees this morning with west winds cranking along at 15 – 20 mph. High winds last night may have brought branches and maybe even a tree down on the trail. If you encounter a tree down while out skiing please contact TART and we will remove it ASAP.

Although we are not grooming today the trail should be in great condition for both skating and classic skiing. Keep it mind that we have not set tracks until you get to where the 5k branches off from the main trail. From that point on tracks are set throughout the system. We will start setting tracks at the trail head as soon as there is sufficient snow depth.
Forecasts suggest 1 or 2 mores inches tonight and a return of below freezing temps. We will be out grooming again tomorrow morning. A report will go out by 7:30 am.

Peace, Glen… 01/21/21… 6:27 am
