XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/03

An amazing sunset on the return from Trappers Cabin yesterday!

Conditions are great! Groomer Mike will snow comb the skating lanes this morning, and touch up the tracks where needed. There are some pine needles starting to show up on the Tall Pines trail, and parts of the tracks are a little glazed. We have 10-16 inches of snow in the woods, and 4-7 inches packed on the trails. Overall the skate skiing is fantastic, and aside from some light debris in some places, the tracks are very good too.

The Stone Turtle Cafe is open for outdoor dining, as well as 25% capacity indoor dining! Enjoy a Turkey Reuben or a Pesto Perfection Veggie Wrap with chips and a pickle. Hot cocoa, hot apple cider, craft beer, wine and cocktails are available as well.

Enjoy!
