We will not be grooming again today at Valley Spur. Skied there yesterday afternoon and the trails are in great shape. The tracks are awesome and the skate lanes are just a little hard in the high traffic sections but once out a ways they are skiing nice. Winter blast on the way so now’s the time!

FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> 12/29 as a precautionary measure, the lodge will not be open this morning due to severe weather conditions, including high winds and heavy snowfall, which have led to road shutdowns. Your safety is paramount, and I will update you if the situation improves later today. Just heard from John he went out to groom and couldn't see his hand infront of him. So grooming was called off until it's safe to venture out. #valleyspur #SkiMichigan
