Vasa Trail Cross Country Ski Report – 02/06
In the excitement to get on the new snow this morning, I forgot to consider how soft the trail and how abrasive the fresh, cold snow would be. This made it sloooow in the skate lane. The classic tracks were pretty good though so if your going to skate, plan to double pole a lot more than V2 😉.
Classic skiing should be superb. It didn’t feel as cold as 11 degrees and the wind wasn’t much of a factor. It continues to snow and the groomers continue to groom at the trailhead at 11:30 am. Enjoy!
