Valley Spur Trail System Cross Country Ski Report – 03/19
Set some new tracks yesterday on A,D,X,Y and W that turned out quite well. Thin in a few spots but mostly full depth frozen corn snow. Will be out combing skate lanes this morning on some trails. Ski where it’s safe. Daytime temps for the next couple days are expected to be quite warm so get out before it gets sloppy.
Plan to stay open through the weekend and see how things look.

FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> Some pictures from our Snowshoe Trail. 2 trails to choose from The Snowman about 2.5 miles and the start is left of the lodge. The Bunny Trail is flat and only .5 miles and begins to the right of the lodge, at the top of B hill. Only people wearing snowshoes are allowed on these trails. Absolutely no walkers are allowed or dogs. Thanks for your cooperation. #valleyspur #SkiMichigan

FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> 12/19 and winter is returning, lower temps, a little snow and more hopefully on it's way. Very high winds today. The roads are very icy. The lodge won't be open today. You ask do I have any good news? John is out grooming and removing trees from the high winds. John is still unable to groom H and the 1st part of G. Very wet, need to freeze and more snow. #valleyspur #SkiMichigan
