Vasa Trail Cross Country Ski Report – 12/09

From Groomer Glen:
Good Morning Badgers,
I just heard from John and Dave who are out grooming. John reported 22 degrees with no new snow since yesterdays groom. They are leaving the existing classic tracks and working the skate lane. They should be done by around 8:00 am. It has been challenging to wipeout the snowmobile ski tracks due to the shallow base and what is now becoming a low snow condition.
Today’s trail conditions should offer good skiing for both classic and skate. The forecast is not encouraging. It is suggesting temps in the 40s with rain on Friday evening. We will do what we can to keep the trail skiable and continue to send updates. Peace, Glen
