XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 01/02

Good morning! There is still not enough snow across the street to groom yet, but the trails are still very skiable and a good time has been had by many who have ventured out there! Most of the trails have ample snow coverage for classic skiing (rock skis recommended), and we’ve even had some skate skiers out there with good success. Ethan the Cabin Boy will be at Trapper’s Cabin today with a bonfire, hot cocoa and other snacks, so be sure to see him and let him cook you a hot dog!

The practice area has man-made snow and is in excellent condition for skiing around, demoing new skis, or taking a lesson. Join us for LIVE MUSIC with George Frye this afternoon at 2pm in the Stone Turtle Day Lodge!

It’s Get your Fill at the Grill lunch special today! Enjoy your choice of a beef burger, black bean veggie burger, or Beyond Meat burger, grilled over open flame and served with tons of toppings, Great Lakes Chips and a Pickle. Try your burger “Fire on the Mountain” style, with jalepenos, Frank’s Red Hot, and buffalo blue cheese sauce!
