Vasa Trail Cross Country Ski Report – 01/06

Good morning everyone!

Our new head groomer and official Corduroy Coordinator, James Hart, reports from the trail that he and our newest groomer, Chad Kirchner, are out on the trail busy packing down yesterday’s fresh snowfall of 6-8". They are rolling and setting corduory with the skirts. As of 6:30 AM the 5K, 10K, Special K, and Anita’s have all been done and they are currently out on the 25K now.

Skiing should be good today and we’ll of course keep you posted as hopefully some lake effect snow follows the storm system that graced us with this recent accumulation.

Also, we’ll be celebrating Winter Trails Day at Timber Ridge Resort this Saturday from 10:30-2:00 PM. Please stop in to say hello and share this with those you know who are new to winter snow sports. More information can be found on the TART Trails website.

Cheers, Brian…01/06/22…7:30 AM
