Good Morning Badgers,

I just completed a trip around the Vasa to renovate the skate lane. Existing tracks were left in place as they were generally in really good shape and there’s not enough snow to to reset at this time.

Conditions are surprisingly thin (It’s amazing how 8”-10” of snow can pack down to less than an inch in many places). Where there is adequate snow coverage, the trail will offer great skiing for both skate and classic, just be careful and keep an eye out for thin spots.

Today is winter trails day, so get out and enjoy a serving of what makes Traverse City such a glorious place to overwinter! Cheers, James
