XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 01/26

Great conditions abound on the HQ trails!

Conditions remain great on the majority of the trail system, with Tall Pines turning up a few thin/needly spots. Classic tracks are very good, and the skating lanes are firm and smooth. Groomer Mike will be snowcombing the skating lanes this morning. Snow depth in the woods is 8 to 10 inches. Snow depth packed on most of the trails is 4 to 6 inches. Please keep an eye out for snow moving operations on the Trapper’s Cabin and Rolling Hills trails today.

Today’s forecast: Sunny to partly cloudy. High 16F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight: Overcast. Low 9F. Winds SSW at 10 to 20 mph.

Tomorrow: Snow showers. High 27F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 50%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.
