XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/01

Conditions are fabulous for classic and skate skiing, with freshly groomed corduroy skate lanes as of this morning, and great classic tracks on all trails. Snow depth in the woods is 8 to 12 inches. Snow depth packed on most of the trails is 4 to 7 inches. Ski early today for the best conditions, as it’s going to get a little warm.

Today: Partly cloudy skies this morning will become overcast during the afternoon. High around 40F. Winds SSW at 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight: Cloudy skies. Low 19F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph.

Tomorrow: Cloudy. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High 22F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph.
