Forbush Corner Cross Country Ski Report – 02/03

Thursday February 3rd,. There was very little melting of the base from the warm up but a few thin spots did show up in the usual places on the west side. 99% of the trails on the east and west side are in great condition. We will be doctoring up the thin spots on the west side to get the course ready for the race on Sunday. We will groom the east side trails today and the west side trails tomorrow. The lack of snow in the forecast will limit our ability to groom on a daily basis to save the base and prevent pulling up dirt.

Ski Michigan

FROM Forbush Corner Cross-Country Skiing >> We will be closed starting Saturday March 7th until the warms temps and rain ends. Looks like temps drop on Wednesday and some possibility of snow. We will reassess the trails at that time and decide when we can open again. We have a lot of base on the the trails and fully expect most of it to survive.
Founders day is this Saturday. We will have hot dogs, black bean burgers, drinks and some sides. We usually do a potluck if you want to bring something to share. $10 trail fees for the remainder of the season. #forbush #SkiMichigan
