XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/04


Sunset at the end of the Trapper’s Cabin trail last night!

Conditions on most of the trails are good to very good, however there are some thin spots and debris under the larger trees. Skating is great and classic skiing is good on Mackinaw Cut, Wild Turkey, Trapper’s Cabin, Rolling Hills and Manitou. Tall Pines and Adventure are not groomed and are marginal. Snow depth in the woods is 6 to 8 inches. Snow depth packed on most of the trails is 3 to 6 inches.

Today: Some sun this morning with increasing clouds this afternoon. High 16F. Winds light and variable.

Tonight: Cloudy skies early, then partly cloudy after midnight. Low around 0F. Winds light and variable.

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies during the morning hours will become overcast in the afternoon. High near 20F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.
