XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/07

Conditions are still holding up strong on much of the trail network!

Conditions remain very good on most of the trail system, with good quality snow and no ice. Every trail except for Tall Pines has great skating and good classic tracks. Watch for the occasional thin spot and tree debris under the larger trees. The only trail with marginal conditions is Tall Pines, which should be avoided until we get more snow. Snow depth in the woods is 6 to 8 inches. Snow depth packed on most of the trails is 3 to 6 inches.

Today: Cloudy with snow showers mainly during the morning. High 26F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 40%.

Tonight: Cloudy. Low 13F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies in the morning will give way to cloudy skies during the afternoon. High 32F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.
