Vasa Trail Cross Country Ski Report – 02/11

Almost Race Day! Above freezing temperatures early this morning that are forecasted to continue until sundown will keep us from operating grooming equipment on the trail the rest of the day today. In the meantime, we will be making final race groom preparations for tomorrow’s North American Vasa freestyle races. The 1”-2” of new snow that fell throughout the early morning hours today will provide us with some nice material to work with once temperatures dip below freezing, and we’ll be working through the night to provide racers with the best ski experience possible on the race course tomorrow.

So take some time today to relax, wax, and dust off your Lycra, because it’s going to be a good one tomorrow! Hope to see you at the start line 🏁❄️.

Cheers, James…02/11/22…9:15 AM
